PROTECT: Prospective Research On Terrorist Events and Collective Trauma
Ce projet norvégien soutenu par le NKVTS (Norwegian Centre for Violence and traumatic stress studies) a pour objectif final de développer une méthode de recherche permettant de comparer la réponse et l’organisation des systèmes de soins européens suite à un évènement traumatique et en particulier les attentats terroristes. Pour cela, des membres de l’équipe du NKVTS et de l’ERES vont collaborer, notamment en réalisant une étude comparative de la prise en charge suite aux attentats perpétrés en Norvège en 2011 et en France en 2015 à 2016, grâce à des données individuelles issues des enquêtes de cohorte IMPACTS, ESPA et Utøya mais aussi à des données de la population générale.
The final objective of the Protect study is to develop a solid research methodology that allows for comparison of post-disaster health service provision across Europe, and thus strengthen the international orientation of services research. For that, researchers in NKVTS and in the ERES team in France will perform a comparative perspective within and between Norway and France including data from both terror-exposed individuals (with IMPACTS, ESPA and Utøya surveys) and the general population in both countries.
