Simon Ducarroz, PhD est épidémiologiste social et chargé de recherche dans l’équipe de recherche en épidémiologie sociale de l’Institut Pierre Louis d'Epidémiologie et de Santé Publique (IPLESP/ INSERM UMR_S 1136). Il a obtenu un Master en santé publique à Lyon, puis a rejoint un programme doctoral au Centre International de Recherche sur le Cancer (CIRC-OMS) en 2011. Simon Ducarroz a reçu le Outstanding Contribution Award du CIRC en 2014. Il y a soutenu sa thèse début 2016 sur « Le tabagisme et le risque de cancers liés au tabac chez les migrants en Europe ». Depuis, ses sujets de recherche portent sur la santé des migrants et des autres populations marginalisées, avec une perspective particulière sur les inégalités de santé. Il s'intéresse à l'utilisation et au développement des méthodes mixtes et des méthodes et cadres conceptuels de l’Implementation science.

Simon Ducarroz, PhD is a Research Fellow at the Department of Social Epidemiology of the French Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM 1136). He graduated with a Master of Public Health in Lyon, France. Afterward, he joined a doctoral program at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC-WHO) in 2011. Simon Ducarroz was awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award of the IARCin 2014. He defended his thesis in early 2016 on “Tobacco use and tobacco‐related cancer risks in migrants in Europe”. Since then, his research topics focuses on migrants' and other marginalised populations’ health, with a particular perspective on health inequalities. He is interested in the use and development of mixed-methods design and implementation science frameworks and methods.
