Titulaire d’un master de recherche en Cultures et Société Etrangères (Europe et Amériques) de l’Université de Poitiers et l’Institut Catholique de Paris. Mays KABAKIBI intègre l’Equipe de Recherche en Epidémiologie Sociale (ERES) de l’Inserm en Septembre 2023 en tant qu’assistante d’équipe. Elle a participé en 2019 au projet européen APEX (soutien psychosocial individuel pour adultes affectés par la détresse dans les communautés exposées à l’adversité) tant qu’intervenante d’action sociale et traductrice. Elle a participé en 2021 au projet européen RESPOND (Improving the Preparedness of Health Systems to Reduce Mental Health and Psychosocial Concerns resulting from the COVID-19 Pandemic) en tant qu’intervenante d’action sociale et traductrice.
Mays KABAKIBI holds a Master's degree in Research in Foreign Cultures and Societies (Europe and the Americas) from the University of Poitiers and the Catholic Institute of Paris. In September 2023, she joined the Social Epidemiology Research Team (ERES) at Inserm as a team assistant. In 2019, she participated in the European project APEX (Individual psychosocial support for adults affected by distress in communities exposed to adversity) where she worked as a social action facilitator and translator.
In 2021 she took part in the European project RESPOND (Improving the preparedness of health systems to reduce mental health and psychosocial concerns resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic) contributing as a social action facilitator and translator.
Gustave Maffre Maviel est doctorant en épidémiologie sociale à Sorbonne Université, au sein de l’école doctorale 393. Sa thèse porte sur le rôle de la consommation de cannabis dans les comportements suicidaires dans l’enquête Constances, sous la direction de Maria Melchior et Guillaume Airagnes.
Après un bachelor « Economies et Sociétés » à Sciences Po Paris et une licence de Mathématiques à Sorbonne Université, Gustave obtient un Master de Santé Publique à Sorbonne Université, parcours « Statistiques, modélisation et sciences des données en santé ». Il effectue un premier stage à la Direction de la Recherche, des Etudes, de l’Evaluation et des Statistiques (DREES) où il étudie les inégalités de mortalité en fonction du secteur d’activité professionnel. Il réalise ensuite un stage au sein de l’ERES et de l’équipe PsyDev du Centre de recherche en Epidémiologie et Santé des Populations (CESP) où il étudie le lien entre difficultés financières et symptômes dépressifs, sous la supervision de Maria Melchior et Cécile Vuillermoz.
Gustave Maffre Maviel is a PhD student in social epidemiology at Sorbonne University. He’s studying the link between cannabis consumption and suicidal behaviours in the Constances cohort, under the supervision of Maria Melchior and Guillaume Airagnes.
Gustave studied Economics & Sociology and Mathematics as a dual bachelor’s degree in Sciences Po Paris and Sorbonne University. He obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health in 2023, specializing in statistics, modelling and data science for health. He did an internship in the statistical department of the French Ministry of Health (DREES) studying inequalities in mortality according to professional sector. Then he did a second internship in the ERES and PsyDev teams, studying the link between financial hardship and depressive symptoms, under the supervision of Maria Melchior and Cécile Vuillermoz.
Florencia Barreto Zarza, docteure en psychologie, titulaire d'un master de recherche en psychologie et psychopédagogie. En mars 2023, elle a entamé un séjour postdoctoral au sein de l'équipe ERES, grâce à une bourse attribuée par le Département de l'Éducation du Gouvernement basque (Espagne). Elle est membre de recherche du groupe HAEZI à l'Université du Pays Basque UPV/EHU, et du groupe de recherche en épidémiologie environnementale et développement de l'enfant à l'Institut de recherche sur la santé de Biogipuzkoa (Espagne). Elle travaille actuellement sur des projets longitudinaux au sein de la cohorte ELFE en France et de la cohorte INMA en Espagne. Dans le cadre de l'étude des déterminants sociaux de la santé, sa ligne de recherche se concentre sur l'étude des facteurs de protection et de risque dans le contexte familial, et leur influence sur le développement de l'auto-régulation, la santé mentale et le développement neuropsychologique de l'enfance à l'adolescence. Dans le domaine appliqué, elle collabore avec le conseil municipal de Vitoria-Gasteiz et la Croix-Rouge espagnole sur des projets de recherche et des programmes axés sur le contexte familial et le développement psychologique des enfants.
Florencia Barreto Zarza, PhD in Psychology, Research MSc, Graduate in Psychology and Psychopedagogy. In March 2023 she started her postdoctoral stay in the Social Epidemiology Research group with a fellowship awarded by the Department of Education of the Basque Government (Spain). She is a research member of the HAEZI group at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, and of the Environmental Epidemiology and Child Development group at the Biogipuzkoa Institute for Health Research (Spain). She is currently working on longitudinal projects within the ELFE cohort in France and the INMA cohort in Spain. As part of the study of social determinants of health, her line of research focuses on the study of protective and risk factors in the family context, and their influence on the development of self-regulation, mental health and neuropsychological development from childhood to adolescence. In the applied field, she collaborates with the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council and the Spanish Red Cross in research projects and programmes, focusing on the family context and children psychological development.
Emma Falkiner travaille en tant qu’ingénieure d’études au sein de l’équipe ERES. Diplomée d’un master d’épidémiologie sociale de l’University College London, elle rejoint l’équipe en Janvier 2024 pour travailler sur le projet Européen IMPROVA. Ce projet a pour but de co-concevoir, piloter, évaluer et faciliter le déploiement d'une plateforme d'intervention en e-santé visant à améliorer la santé mentale et le bien-être, ainsi qu’à détecter et prévenir précocement les problèmes de santé mentale courants, chez les adolescents.
Emma Falkiner is a study engineer in the ERES team with a Masters’ degree in Social Epidemiology from University College London. She joined the research team in January 2024 to work on the European project IMPROVA. The project includes co-designing, piloting, evaluating, and facilitating the upscaling of a modular eHealth intervention platform, that aims to improve mental health and well-being, early detect mental health problems and prevent common mental disorders in adolescents.
