Diplômé d’un Master de Démographie obtenu à l’Institut de Démographie de L’Université de Strasbourg (IDUS) en 2020, Irwin Hecker est ingénieur d’études en biostatistiques dans l’équipe ERES depuis janvier 2021. Il participe au projet européen RESPOND (PREparedness of health systems to reduce mental health and Psychosocial concerns resulting from the COVID-19 paNDemic) et plus particulièrement à l’identification des groupes résilients ou à risque vis-à-vis de la santé mentale durant la pandémie de COVID-19. Enfin, il étudie l’évolution de la santé mentale durant la pandémie de COVID-19 en France grâce aux données de la cohorte TEMPO recueillies depuis mars 2020.

Irwin Hecker graduated with a master’s degree in demography from the Institut de Démographie de L’Université de Strasbourg (IDUS) in 2020 and he joined the ERES team as a research engineer in January 2021. He is involved in the RESPOND project (PREparedness of health systems to reduce mental health and Psychosocial concerns resulting from the COVID-19 paNDemic) where he is analysing groups at risk and resilient groups in terms of mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, he is studying the evolution of mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic using TEMPO cohort data gathered since the crisis’ beginning.
